Javier was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, and uncle.
Javier was tall and strikingly handsome. He was not only a remarkable dancer but also a steadfast protector of all that was good. With a firm handshake and a commanding voice, his hands served as tools, and his unparalleled work ethic endured through the legacy passed on to his children and grandchildren. They will continue the legacy of a man who worked hard, never complained, and always provided.

Javier is survived by his loving family: Wife, Maria Ortega, Daughter, Adriana Ortega (Juan Reyes), Sons, Rene Ortega (Elizabeth), Adrian Ortega, and Raul Rivera, Grandchildren, Francisco Quirarte Ortega, Serena Ortega, Julian Ortega, and Sarah Ortega, and lastly his best canine companion, Sophie. Javier will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
