Leonard, a devoted family man and proud father and grandfather, has embarked on his homecoming, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He found joy in spending time with his loved ones and took pride in his family. Leonard's passion for sports was evident throughout his life, from his days playing baseball in high school to his later years spent golfing and bowling. He was a dedicated member of a bowling league for many years, finding camaraderie and enjoyment in the sport. In addition to his love for family and sports, Leonard was deeply committed to serving his community as a parks and recreation supervisor for over 43 years. His dedication to enhancing the lives of others through recreation and leisure activities touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on the community he served. Leonard's warm presence and love for his family and sports will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Leonard is survived by his loving family: Son, Levi Garcia, Daughter, Lauren Garcia, Daughter, Alexis Garcia Leal, Granddaughters, Luna, Audrey, and Ariana. Leonard is survived by his, Mother, Teresa Garcia, and his siblings Sisters, Michelle Saldana(Ron), Terrie-Ann Lllane(Frank), and Yvonne Apodaca(Danny), and Brother, Randolph Garcia(Tracey). Leonard also is survived by his soulmate, Betty Hernandez Espinoza, as well as many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. .
Leonard was reunited with his beloved father Ruben and many other family members who were there to welcome him to his heavenly home.
