Ralph O. Chavez, 67, was born on October 24, 1945 in Los Angeles and passed away on April 14, 2013 in Los Angeles. Ralph was a 67 year old husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He graduated from Garfield High School and worked at the Boyle St. Sears store for nearly 30 years. He loved football and playing the lotto. Hoping, as all of us do, to hit it big.
His death came suddenly and too soon. He will be missed by all who knew him but left us all with a favorite memory to put a smile on our face when we need one. Ralph has gone to join his two pre-deceased sons Ralph Jr. and Frank. He leaves behind his wife Carmen, daughter Stephanie, stepchildren Vincent and Betty Burciaga, granddaughter Crystal and brother Manuel
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel with a Prayer Vigil to begin at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 9:00 am at St. Benedict Church with interment following at Calvary Cemetery.
