Vicenta Alvarez, 90, was a long time resident of Southern California, was born on September 25, 1917 in El Paso, Texas and passed away on January 13, 2008 in La Mirada, California.
Vicenta is survived by her loving family, daughters, Cecilia Valdez of West Covina, California, Rosa Elorriaga of Pico Rivera, California, Carmen Alvarez of Downey, California, Connie Alvarez of Modesto, California, and sons, Antonio Alvarez of West Covina, California and Richard Alvarez of Covina, California.
The Vigil will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Saint Marianna de Paredes Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00 am at Saint Marianna de Paredes Catholic Church, 7922 Passons Blvd., Pico Rivera, California 90660, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
