Craig Dean Lackey, 64, was born on January 28, 1958 in Norwalk, California to Clara E. Powers ad Boyd J.C. Lackey. Craig entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2023 in Bloomington, CA.
Craig was intelligent and hard-working, he helped many people and made lifelong friends while working in the Downey Unified School District. Craig’s love of all plants led him to a fulfilling career as a groundskeeper for Downey Unified School District, where he received numerous beautification awards. He had an eclectic collection of many things, including movies, diecast cars, and music memorabilia, just to name a few.
Craig is survived by his grandsons, Blake and Cole. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria and his brother Richard. His days were made brighter by his love for his two chihuahuas, Bart and Maggie.
