Petra R. Luna, 89, was born on September 9, 1920 in Oxnard, California, and passed away on May 27, 2010 in Whittier, California.
Petra is survived by her loving sons, Arthur Gallegos of Orange, Ruben Reyes of Whittier, sister, Natalia Luna Hernandez of Pico Rivera, brother, Ramon Luna of Whittier, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church, 532 South Atlantic Blvd. in Los Angeles, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
