Abel Romo, 77, was born on March 14, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on January 20, 2010 in Montebello, California.
Abel is survived by his loving wife, Lupe Romo of Montebello, daughter, Irene Wolf of Las Vegas, Nevada, son, Abel Romo Jr. of Montebello, brother, Elias Romo of Los Angeles, Leonard Romo of San Gabriel, sister, Linda Parra of La Puente, grandson, Frank Abel Castillo of Apple Valley and granddaughter, Jennifer Rebecca Coburn of Diamond Bar. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Castillo in 2009.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2009, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 6:30 pm.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
