Albert Shatachian, 83, was born on November 19, 1926 in Kharkov, Ukraine, and passed away on January 9, 2010 in Montebello, California.
Albert is survived by his loving sister, Katherine Tumasian of Montebello and her children, Angela Sarkissian of Glendale and Jack Tumasian of Montebello, his brother, Michael Schatachian of Montebello and niece, Anna Gvalevech of Montebello. Albert is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tamara Madatian, Anush Mazakian, Varsenik Kumjian, Anna Sarrafian, Greg Hoshabekian and Varsenik Melkonian.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, January 15, 2010, at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Cathedral, 900 West Lincoln Ave., Montebello, Ca. 90640, with interment following at Evergreen Cemetery, 204 North Evergreen Ave., Los Angeles, California.
