Alex Felix Rodriguez, 85, was born in Los Angeles on October 18, 1926 and passed away in Cudahy on June 20, 2012. He was previously employed as Chief Engineer with Federal Ice & Cold Storage and had worked in the Refrigeration Distribution industry for 40 years. He served his country in WWII and was given an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army.
Alex loved to be with his family and loved to have family home barbecues. He enjoyed dancing and parties, was very involved in politics and loved to travel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nellie Rodriguez of Cudahy, his daughter, Rosemary Yrineo of Cudahy, his sons, Rudy and Alex Rodriguez Jr., both of Cudahy and 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He also leaves his brother, Frank Rodriguez of Cudahy.
It was his wish for no funeral services.
