Alfred M. Acosta, 81, was born on August 4, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Eleuterio Acosta and Henrietta Acosta and entered into eternal rest on September 6, 2017 in Downey, California.
With hard working hands, Alfred was a crane operator for over 23 years and was a veteran of the United States Army - Airborne Division, earning an honorable discharge for his years of bravely fighting for our freedom.
Alfred is survived by his loving family: Wife, Henrietta Acosta of Downey, California, Son, Alfred Acosta, Jr. of Downey, California, Daughter, Yolanda Mendoza (Gilbert) of Downey, California, Daughter, Sirena Trujillo of Colorado, Grandchildren, Alfred Acosta III of Downey, California, Gina Mendoza of Norwalk, California, Amanda Trujillo of Colorado, California, Cheryanne Trujillo of Colorado, Krystal Trujillo of Colorado, Emily Macias of Norwalk, California, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and godchildren. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
