Alfred Rodarte Jr, 81, was born on August 29, 1941, in Compton Proper, California, and died on June 8, 2023, in Whittier, California.
He was married to Michele Rodarte for 56 years and had 3 children, Richard, Julie, and Margie. He was employed by the Local Union 501 as a Painter and worked at Fort MacArthur Air Force Base. He enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren, camping with his family, and doing craft activities with some of his best friends.
Alfred had a fondness for nature and a love for all of this world's natural elements. He found joy in even the simplest matters of life. His personality was a beacon of what it meant to be exemplary. He was gentle towards frightened animals, considerate to others who found themselves in dire straits, patient and calculated in times of tribulation, and most importantly, he always kept his promises.
In his retirement, he loved talking to his brother, John, and sister, Arlene, on the phone and watching game shows from his chair on his big screen TV, and watching the starry skies for UFOs.
Alfred is survived by his loving family: Daughter, Margie Rodarte, Step-Son, Richard Rodarte, Grandsons, Vincent Palmisano, and Ryan Janes, Granddaughters, Celina Janes, Erika Janes, 1 Great-Granddaughter, 1 Great-Grandson, Sister, Arlene Rodarte, Brother, John Rodarte, Brothers-in-law, Mike Serrano, and Joseph Serrano. Alfred will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
