Alicia Santellanes Antunez, 92 was born on May 7, 1924 in El Paso, Texas and entered into eternal rest March 27, 2017 in Fontana, California with her family by her side.
With a loving and caring heart for children Alicia was a child care provider for over 25 years.
Alicia is survived by her loving family; Daughter Diana Bliss(Kevin) of Fontana, California, Son Luis A. Zavala,Jr.(Patricia) of Oxnard, California, Grandson Christopher Herrera of the Bay Area, Granddaughter Christina Mendival of Long Beach, California, Grandson Gabriel Bliss of Fontana, California, Sister Maria Navarette of Montebello, California and numerous Nieces & Nephews. Alicia was greeted at heaven's gate by her beloved Son Ruben Herrera.
Alicia's favorite hobby was gardening and she could make anything grow. With her green thumb she could even bring a dying plant back to life. Her favorite flowers are orchids and roses. She loved birds especially hummingbirds and tortolitas(Ruddy brown dove). Alicia was very faithful and humble to all those she loved and knew. She faithfully prayed the rosary every day until she became ill. She loved children and all those that came into her life saw her as their own grandma. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
