Alicia Amao Marquez, 84, was born on January 1, 1925 in La Paz, Mexico, and entered eternal life on October 18, 2009, in Riverside, California.
Alicia is survived by her loving daughters, Martha Reymundo, Melissa Henniger, Corina Henniger and Ella Corral. Sons, Jesus Gilbert Valdez and Luis Alonzo Valdez. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Alicia loved life and lived her's to the fulliest. She always had a smile on her face, loved to tell jokes and make everyone laugh. Alicia will be truly missed by all her family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello.
Memorial mass will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 10727 Downey Ave., Downey, California, 90241.
Interment is private.
