Alicia was a homemaker for over 42 years. Formally of Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, she lived in Los Angeles County for over 10 years. She was born to Jose Jesus Jacquez,Pacheco and Leonor Fernandez,Alvidrez-De Jacquez, both of Mexico.
Mrs. Saenz leaves behind her loving family: daughter Irma S. (Bernard) Thomas of Santa Teresa, NM, daughter Ines (Manuel Loya) Saenz of El Paso, TX, son Bernard (Alejandra) Saenz, Jr. of Juarez, Mexico, son Luis (Juana) Saenz of Bakersfield, Ca., son Ben Saenz, also of Bakersfield, Ca., daughter Leonor S. Marroquin of Downey, daughter Carmen S. (Steve) Murray of Commerce, Ca., daughter Alicia Saenz, Jr. of Milliken and daughter Racheal Saenz of Commerce, Ca. Also surviving Alicia are her 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and her siblings: sister Ramona Melendez Jacquez of Mexico, brother Benjamin Jacquez of Colorado, sister Yolanda Jacquez of Mexico, and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation Service is scheduled for Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel, with a Prayer Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 9:00 am St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 532 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90022. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mills Rd., Whittier, Ca., 90601.
