S. Allen Seward, 87, was born in Abilene, Texas on August 24, 1924 and passed away in Whittier on October 19, 2011.

Allen was a Missionary with the North American Mission Board for 32 years. He and his wife, Tula were both missionaries to Native Americans in Colorado and New Mexico for 32 years. After retiring in 1989 they moved to Whittier in 1999. Allen loved to visit with people and would spend hours talking with people he met at local coffee shops and sharing his love for Jesus to all he met. He also enjoyed taking long walks everyday and visiting with people along the way. He loved to pray for people in need and encourage them in their journey of faith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00am at the Greenleaf Ave. Baptist Church in Whittier. Interment will be at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Albertville, Alabama.

Mr. Seward is predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Tula Seward. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Curtis and Roxane Seward of Ogden, Utah, and his daughters, Alicia and Catricia Seward, both of Whittier. He also leaves 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
