Alva Carl Jones was born to Glen Frederick and Margaret Ann Hill in Columbus, Ohio on August 7, 1938 and entered into eternal rest at his residence in Carson on March 2, 2015. He was 76 years old. Alva was previously worked for aerospace company as a machinist. He also was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Alva is survived by his son Danny Jones of Carson, son Jerry Jones of Carson, son Charles Jones of Carson, daughter Wanda Lynn Jones Sheppard of Long Beach and step-son John William Jones of Carson. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
