Written by her daughter, Natalia Weberg:
"My mother Ana was a very complex and unique person. For that reason, it was difficult finding the best words to describe her. She was a beautiful free spirit that touched those that got to know her. Her generosity and compassion was unsurpassed. She was so giving and inviting to so many. Her delicious cooking and hospitality brought family and friends together. Home was wherever she was present. Some might say to the point where she was a bit reckless and irresponsible, but she was unapologetic and lived the way she wanted to. She welcomed all and was never judgmental. Even when others criticized her compulsive ways. Everyone knew my mom's favorite place was the casino. It was her way of having fun and forgetting for a little while about problems. My mother was very deep and very passionate about issues that mattered to her. An intellectual and hippie best describes her. She was brave enough to speak her mind even if it wasn't polite. Mom didn't do superficial talk. She was intense, yet it was still comfortable talking to her because you could be yourself. That quality made her easy to love. She truly was a beautiful person in so many ways. Her style was unique and never boring. No one else could make Birkenstocks and Hawaiian shirts looks so cool.Yes, she was stunning, but her inner beauty was defined by the depth of her heart and the freedom of her spicy spirit. Strong, fearless, adventurous, are qualities that few have. It takes courage to live your life freely. My mother experienced love throughout her life, but found the deepest companionship with her beloved doggies Yogi and Chops. And I would like to think that true love was me. We had a special bond that was unique and beautiful. She was so much more than a mom to me. She was my best friend."
"My love for you is endless. I will forever miss you. I love you Mom."
