Andres Mata, 87, was born on August 28, 1935, in Luis Moya in Durango, Mexico to Pedro Mata and Luisa Ibarra. Andres entered into eternal rest on March 29, 2023, in Lakewood, California. Andres was a welder for over 50 years.
Andres is survived by his loving family: Wife - Hortensia Mata, Children; Mario Mata, Andy (Maria) Mata, Johnny (Eva) Mata, Jaime ( Letty) Mata, Ricardo(Jackie) Mata, and Diana (Erik), and Son-in-law Robert Simmons. Andres was blessed to be a Grandfather to 14 grandchildren, and a loving Great Grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. Andres will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Andres was reunited at the gates of Heaven with his daughter Irma Mata Simmons, who welcomed him to his heavenly home.
