Andrew was in construction labor for the motion picture industry for over 12 years.
Andrew Joseph Dodds was a loving husband, girl and cat dad, and proud union laborer. He was a devoted and loyal son, brother, and friend. If you had the privilege of being a part of his inner circle, he would stop at nothing to protect you.
Andrew had a unique way of showing you that he loved or cared for you. It was as if you were both offended and honored at the same time. He was a very generous person and was always willing to extend a helping hand to those he loved.
We will truly miss his boisterous laugh and his unapologetic attitude. He had absolutely no problem saying exactly what he felt to whoever he wanted–yes, whoever.
Andrew enjoyed eating quality meals, drinking with his friends, taking his family on outings, and his Sundays at the Santa Fe Swapmeet.
Despite the challenges he experienced in his last days, he remained hopeful that he would achieve a full recovery so that he could enjoy his life with those he truly loved.
Andrew is survived by his loving family: Wife, Patricia Peralta, Daughters, Jada of Downey, Sam of Downey, Bella of Downey, Drew of Downey, Mother, Lydia Dodds of Downey, Sister, Andrea Lule (Danny) of Orange County, Brother, Arthur Roman of Whittier, Nephew Elias Lule of Orange County, Mother-in-law, Rosa Peralta of Los Angeles, Sister-in-law, Gina Peralta of Oakland, Maryann Peralta-Sandoval of Norwalk, Nephew, Alfredo Sandoval of Norwalk, Niece, Diamond Sandoval of Norwalk, and Nephew, Isaiah Peralta of Oakland, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
