Andrew Robert Hernandez
February 4, 1920 — February 26, 2013
Andrew "Andy" Robert Hernandez, 93, was born in Los Angeles, Ca. on February 4, 1920 and passed away in Baldwin Park, Ca. on February 26, 2013. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was given an Honorable Discharge. Military Honors will be given to him at graveside. Andy was previously employed as a Machinest for Amerian Can Co. for over 30 years in the can manufacturing industry.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 5:00-9:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. A Catholic Vigil will be held the same evening at 7:00pm also in the Risher Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 9:00am at St. Benedict Church with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Louise (Leonard) Estrada of Montebello, Vivian (Ruben) Arroyo of Montebello and Audrey (Art) Hernandez of Whittier. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
