Angela Orona Cardenas, 86, was born in Victoria, Texas on September 1, 1928 and passed away at her residence in Panorama City, surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2015.
Our mother was a loving, generous, resilient, and courageous woman who raised her four children, Alicia, Manuel, Jose, and Robert, as a single parent. She gave everything she had, sacrificed so much, to give her children the best she could. She will be remembered for her strong will to raise her children in accordance with her faith. She adored her grandchildren, Robert Aaron Cardenas, Jacqueline Marlene Romero, Joseph Robert Cardenas, and Anthony and Roxana Sandoval. She will be missed by us all. Our memories of her will comfort us and bring smiles and tears of joy. Our mother truly epitomized Prov. 31:25: "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
