Araxe "Roxie" Sargis

Roxie passed after a long and enjoyable life surrounded with love from her family. She was born in Chicago, IL, to Egishe and Ovsanna Agopian. She had a younger brother, Robert, who preceded her in passing. She came to California and then met and married husband Edmund. They moved to Montebello where they lived with their daughter Roxanne and showered her with love her whole life. Roxie worked most of her life for H&L Tooth Company in Montebello until she retired as the Administrative Secretary to the President and Vice Presidents. After her husband Edmund's death, she moved to Yorba Linda to be close to her daughter and family. Roxanne gave her two lovely granddaughters, Ashley and Christina, who were the loves of her life and brought her great happiness. She loved living in the home that her son-in-law Brad had built for her on their property and seeing her family daily. Roxie loved the beauty of Yorba Linda and always mentioned how beautiful the trees and hills were. She stayed involved by going to the Community Center, playing cards, and visiting with friends. She made a friend everywhere she went. She enjoyed the ocean the most and loved going to Oceanside with her friends and family. Roxie is survived by her only daughter, her pride and joy, Roxanne, her two granddaughters Ashley and Christina, son-in-law Brad, her sister-in-law, Kathie Agopian and niece, Kristin Agopian. She loved her family and friends dearly. Her beautiful warm smile will be missed. She will be missed by many and will be forever in our hearts.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Stroke Association in Roxie Sargis' honor.
