Armand Gabriel Navarro, 78, was born on August 3, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Armand M. Navarro and Angelina Ward, and entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2022 in La Mirada, California.
Armand served in the United States Army with great pride and he was honorably discharged for his faithful service to our great nation. After his military service, Armand dedicated over 30 years as a salesman in the retail carpet industry. Armand also served many family members throughout his years as a service director for Risher Mortuary.
Always having a smile on his face, Armand had a quick and sharp mind and was one who would be able to make people laugh. With a straight forward attitude, he was not one to beat around the bush when discussing an issue or solving a problem. Armand enjoyed his vacations, his USC Trojans, his "chelas", and his Bloody Mary's. He would always brag about his "famous" chili and if you were lucky enough, he would have a bag full of them ready for you. While some people might find him rough around the edges, but Armand had a heart of gold. Most importantly, Armand valued his family and friendships built with those he came across. If he called you "brother", you know you were in his good graces.
Armand is survived by his loving family: His wife of many years, Patricia "Pat" Navarro, Sons, Armand P. Navarro and his wife Michelle, Gabriel Navarro and his wife Lisa, Mario Navarro and his wife Alba, Grandchildren, Armand Navarro, Aiden Navarro, Megan Navarro, Makayla Navarro, Peri Navarro, Gabriel Navarro Jr., Ruthie Navarro, Ezra Navarro, Great Grandchildren, Kaylee Navarro, Illiana Navarro, Zion Navarro, Amina Navarro, Sister, Alicia Torres and her husband Randy, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
