Aurora Parra Uribe was born to Leonor and Ramon Parra on April 21, 1924 in Los Angeles, California and entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2016 at her residence in Montebello, California. She was 91 years old.
"My Mother's name was Aurora Parra Uribe. Many family members and close friends called her "Dora". She was very family oriented. She loved to read, cook, she was always trying new recipes. But her most favorite thing to do was puzzles, 1000 pieces or more. She would spend more then half the day sitting down doing her beloved puzzles. My mom's heart was very compassionate when it came to the affairs of her family. Aurora had 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren." - Anita Pearl Zarco (daughter)
Aurora is survived by her daughters; Eleanor (Miguel) Hernandez of Montebello, Anita (Gerardo) Zarco of Montebello and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Gilbert Serrano, sister Eleanor "Honey" Ramos and numerous nieces and nephews.
