Belia Alatorre Polanco was born to Trinidad Alatorre and Teodoro Sanchez on November 26, 1938 in Sonora, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2016 in Whittier, California. She was 77 years old.

Belia attended Bishop Conaty High School, graduating class of 1956. She was employed at both Bank of America and American Savings where she worked as a loan officer for over 20 years. Belia enjoyed attending family gatherings and working on puzzles. She was known for making pineapple upside-down cakes. Belia had a true heart for volunteering. She served countless hours at her church, St. Dominic Savio serving the community.

Belia is survived by her six children; Theodore Montreal, Danny Montreal, Richard Montreal, Edward Montreal, Robert Montreal and Annie Polanco Johnson. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren; Elise, Charlette, Patricia, Julianna, Brandon, Christian, Nathan, Payton, Jesse and Isaac.
The eldest of three daughters, Belia is predeceased by her younger sister Edna and survived by her youngest sister Dori. Belia was greeted at Heaven's gate by her late husbands; Joseph Daniel Montreal and Robert Polanco who both preceded her in death.
