Benita O. Mora, 87, was born on March 21, 1922 in El Paso, Texas, and passed away on March 5, 2010 in Downey, California.
Benita is survived by her loving brothers, Martin Orozco of Montebello, Chencho Orozco of East Los Angeles, sister, Jennie Jaquez of East Los Angeles, daughter-in-law, Isabel Peralez of Downey, granddaughters, Connie Rendon of Selma, Chita Avalos of Downey, and grandson, Steve Peralez Jr. of Murrieta. He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Peralez in 1998.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, March 12, 2010, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 10727 South Downey Ave., in Downey, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
