Bernard Granados, 55, was born on July 10th,1967, in Los Angeles, California, and entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2022, in Lynwood, California.
Bernard grew up in the city of Burbank to Luis Granados Jr. and Mary Ann Granados. Bernard had 3 brothers, Luis and his wife Yolanda, Adolfo and his wife Mabel, Gabriel and his wife Edith, his sister Valerie and her husband Mark, and brother Albert.
Bernard graduated from John Burroughs High School and went on to attend UCLA. He later studied at Southwestern University School of Law and became a lawyer and attorney for over 20 years. He opened his own successful law practice, specializing in immigration. He was a single father for Joshua Granados since Joshua was in 6th grade and raised Joshua in Downey, California at a home he bought in 2012. He started a small ATV rental business, SoCal ATVs, with his son Joshua Granados when Joshua was 17 years old and taught his Son many things about business and life. He deeply enjoyed motorcycle riding and boating with friends and family. He also enjoyed many other hobbies as well like flying remote-control airplanes and drones, remote-control cars, and remote-control boats. He also enjoyed tinkering with these toys as well, whether it was repairs or making upgrades. The best way to describe him is a jack of all trades.
Bernard enjoyed the simple things in life like watching TV with some snacks and catching up on the latest episode of the TV show “Better call Sal”. His most favorite series was Breaking Bad. He enjoyed spending time with friends & family and having a few laughs over some food or enjoying a coffee while swinging on his hammock in the backyard of his cabin up on Big Bear Mountain.
Jacob Granados and Joshua Granados continue his legacy.
Bernard was reunited with his loving family: Mother, Mary Ann Granados, Father Luis Granados Jr, and Brother, Albert Granados.
Although Bernard was a lawyer, he loved working with tools, whether it was working on a motorcycle, a car, or building some useful gadget, he was all into it! I like to compare him to the fictional character from a TV show named “MacGyver”. MacGyver is known in the series for his knack for problem-solving & my father was like that.
What was beautiful about Bernard was that he always had good energy & was always a pleasant person to be around. He was a very courteous & caring man. He loved his family so much & his family loved him dearly as well. Another beautiful thing was that Bernard came from rags to riches. Both of his parents passed by the time he was 21 years old leaving him with just the memories.
