Berta is survived by her daughter Mary Linda Chavez of Whitter, son Steven L. (Elizabeth) Ortiz of Torrance, and daughter Patricia L. (Al) Donato of Pico Rivera. She also leaves behind her granddaughter Teri (Joe) Vertrees and their children William & Victoria, granddaughter Julie (Mark) Hendrickson and their children Matthew & Andrew, granddaughter Lisa (Mike) McDaniels, granddaughter Tracey Donato, grandson Ronald (Christina) Donato and their children Alina & Roman and Berta's favorite 4 legged companion, Penny.
