Betty Isabel Merino, 75, was born in Los Angeles on November 29, 1935 and passed away at her residence in Montebello on September 4, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Merino loved to spend time with her family, but mostly with her grandchildren. Her other favorite pass time was to go shopping.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Montebello, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
Mrs. Merino leaves her loving husband, Ruben Merino of Montebello, her children, Richard Merino of Los Angeles, Nancy St. Andrew and Michelle Merino, both of Whittier and Paul Merino of Newport Beach. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and her siblings, Gloria Contreras of Pico Rivera, Stella Contreras of Oregon, Edward and Gilbert Lavario, both of Pico Rivera.
