Bosiljka Kovacic was born to Gajo Todorovic and Kata Cikota on February 25, 1931 in Kutinica, Yugoslavia and entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2015 in Downey, California. She was 84 years old.

Bosiljka was a beautiful woman who loved her family dearly. Family was always a top priority in her life. She committed herself to sacrifices on a regular basis so as to give as much as she could to her loved ones. As she grew older, her love and commitment to her family only seemed to get stronger.

Bosiljka was strong in more ways than one. If you have ever seen bread, soup noodles, and pastries made by hand and from scratch, you know that it takes a great deal of strength and endurance. Bosiljka was baking bread on a weekly basis, and if her son, daughters, or any grandchild or great grandchild made any inclination that they were craving one of her special treats, it was guaranteed that they would be enjoying it as soon as she gathered her supplies to create it. Her creativity included her ability to make amazing food and desserts, as well as all sorts of textiles. One of her signature ways of showing someone how much she cared and appreciated them was by bestowing them with a handmade gift that was commonly in the form of personalized booties.

Working with her hands was a passion that extended itself into the art of gardening. Bosiljka loved growing flowers of all colors, as well as vegetable and fruit plants. She tended to all her plants regularly, making sure they had enough water and sunshine to flourish.

Bosiljka will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her, and who had the chance to experience her great generosity.

Bosiljka is survived by her daughter Nada Bjelanovic of Serbia, her daughter Koviljka (Andrija) Jevtic of Downey, and her son Nick (Mirjana) Kovacic of Downey. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Sladana Bjelanovic of Chicago, Dejan (Mirjana) Bjelanovic of Serbia, Marijana Kovacic of Downey, Branko (Dalys) Kovacic of Los Alamitos, Andrijana Jevtic of Downey, Alexandra Jevtic of Downey, Steven Kovacic of Downey and great grandchildren, Uros Bjelanovic, and Nemanja Bjelanovic, both of Serbia and Marko Kovacic of Los Alamitos. She is also survived by her two brothers Milos & Djuro Todorovic, both of Croatia, and 2 nieces and 5 nephews. Bosiljka was greeted at Heaven's gate by her sister Persa Stanic.
