Carl M. Cholewinski, 80, was born on September 29, 1932 in Culver, IN, and passed away on June 19, 2013 in Anaheim, CA.
Mr. Cholewinski was an Inspector for 24 years at the Long Beach Naval Shipyards and was in the United States Air Force, receiving a National Defense Service Medal before being granted an Honorable Discharge. Carl was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and the Studebaker Club.
A Visitation will be held at Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:000 am at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 5201 Evergreen Ave., Cypress, CA 90630 (714) 826-0760.
Burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 1:15 pm at Staging Area 2.
Mr. Cholewinski is survived by his loving family; wife Antoinette of Anaheim, son Joseph C. (Agnes) of Stanton, daughter Roxanne (Clay) Sisman of Laguna Niguel, granddaughter Natalie Sisman also of Laguna Niguel, and sisters Marie Mapel of Indiana and Laverne Anderson of Ohio.
