Carlos Roberto Guillen, 33 was born December 21, 1976 in Mexico, and entered eternal life on April 6, 2010.
Carlos had a passion for life. He enjoyed cooking for his family & friends, he was a big L.A. Laker & Chivas fan. He loved to attend his childrens events & was their biggest fan.
The following are Carlos own words to his family & friends.
"This is my wish for you: comfort on difficult days, smiles when saddness intrudes, rainblow to follow the clouds. Sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see. Faith so you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth. Love to complete your life"
Carlos is survived by his loving family, wife Shalimar, their children, Angie, Roberto, and Carlos. His parents: Victor Guillen & Delia Lopez, sister Cinthya Guillen, as well as many other family members. He truly will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 7215 Newlin Ave, Whittier, California, 90602, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
