Carmen Covarrubias, 71, was born in Mexico on January 24, 1942 and passed away in Los Angeles, Ca. on December 2, 2013.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 5:00- 9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary chapel, with a Vigil service at 7:45 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Dominc Savio Church, 13400 Bellflower Bl., Bellflower, Ca., with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.

Carmen is survived by her children; Lorena Salazar of Bellflower, Ana (Art) Hernandez of Anaheim, Olimpia )Tono) Mandujano of Los Angeles, Graciela Covarrubias of Bell, Marco (Amy) Covarrubias of San Bernardino and Eli (Arturo) of Lynwood. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and her siblings; Esther Gonzalez of Placentia, Lydia Hernandez of La Habra, Jesus Hernandez of Los Angeles, Ysidro Oliva and Armando Oliva, both of Norwalk, Susan Oliva and Arnoldo Oliva, both of Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.
