Carmen Acosta Haro, 86, was born on August 24, 1932 in Safford, Arizona to Juan Acosta and Ynez Luna and entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2018 in Baldwin Park, California.
Carmen was met at Heaven's gate by her loving husband of over 40 years, Raymond Haro, who preceded her in death.
Carmen was a devoted consultant in the printing industry for over 40 years. Carmen was an avid bowler for most of her adult life. She was in many different bowling leagues, and could be found at the bowling alley 2-3 nights a week. At home, she loved reading autobiographies and watching political talk shows. She often played Bingo at the local high schools and churches, but mostly she loved playing the Keno machines at Stateline. In later years, as travel became more difficult, she would enjoy her Keno machines at the casinos in Palm Springs. She enjoyed holidays with her entire family, and always showed her love for them through her cooking. She had a strong faith in God, and prayed her rosary every night. She had a very charitable nature, and strongly believed in helping those in need. She will forever be our guardian angel.
Carmen leaves behind her loving family: Son, Richard Salmon (Frances) of El Monte, California, Daughter, Connie Salmon Bohon of El Monte, California, Daughter, Katrina Garcia (Jeff) of West Covina, Grandchildren, Jacob Salmon, Desiree Salmon, Dominic Salmon, Felicia Salmon, Vincent Ballesteros, Salina Lara, Jessica Salmon Bohon, Serena Garcia, Syriah Garcia, Andre Garcia, Brothers, Alfred Acosta and John Acosta, Great-grandchildren, Vincent Ballesteros Jr., Jacob Salmon Jr., Julissa Salmon, Julian Salmon, Alexa Islas, Vanay Guzman, Frankie Guzman, Moses Martinez Jr., Issac Martinez, Leanna Martinez, Maya Lara, Tomas Lara, Isaiah Ballesteros, Nicole Ballesteros, Delina Ballesteros, Joseph Ballesteros, Great-great-grandchildren, Logan Ballesteros and Skylar Rojas, as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
