Carolina is survived by her loving husband Marcos Rodriguez, her five sons; Jeremy Zaragoza, Eric Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Alonso Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez and her grandson Bryce Zaragoza. She also leaves behind her father Alfredo Barrera, mother Silvia Martinez and her two brothers; Jose Barrera and Fred Barrera.
Carolina was greeted at Heaven's Gate by her brother Danny Barrera who preceded her in death (2007).
