Celia Bautista Velazquez was born in Villa Hidalgo Yalalag, Oaxaca, Mexico on October 14th, 1949 and entered into her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior on November 30th, 2017 in Hollywood, California.

Celia worked as a care giver for retirees at Self Realization Fellowship for 17 years where she was deeply loved and cherished along with her best friend and sister, Cleotilde Suy.

Celia is survived by her two loving sons, Antonio Mazas (Heidi) of Lakewood and Danny Farias of Norwalk. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Laura Mazas, Samantha Mazas, Mason Mazas, Cooper Mazas, Savanna Mazas, and Joseph Daniel Farias, as well as her sister, Oliva Rivas (Rodolfo) of Los Angeles, her brother, Juan Bautista (Eufemia) of Los Angeles, her sister, Cleotilde Suv (Pedro) of Los Angeles, her brother, Lucio Pazos (Luz) of San Dimas, her sister, Susana Mendez (Joe) of Downey, and her two great grandchildren, Leilani and Gracie.

Celia had a unique personality that people would gravitate towards. She lived a full life traveling the world while also dedicating herself to family. She loved spending time with her multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Celia was highly involved in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lincoln Heights for 38 years.

She will be dearly missed by her family, church and work.
