Celia Montenegro passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on May 15, 1952, in Veracruz Municipio de Tepehuanes, Durango Mexico, to Roberto and Blasa Estrada. Celia received her education at Profa. Velina Leon de Medina in Colonia Morales, Culiacán, Sinaloa, and subsequently graduated in the specialized field of cosmetology.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jonathan Montenegro Sr.; her daughter, Patricia Carabio (Michael); and her son, Jonathan Montenegro Jr. (Danielle). Celia is also survived by seven grandchildren: Michael Carabio Jr. (Alyssa), Blake Carabio, Chloe Carabio, Elysia Arroyo, Dominic Montenegro, Jonah Montenegro, and Olivia Montenegro, and one great-grandson, Micah Carabio. Furthermore, she is survived by three sisters and five brothers. Celia was preceded in death by her father, Roberto Estrada, and her sister, Rosario Estrada.
Celia derived immense joy from her family, particularly her husband, Jonathan, and her two cherished children, Patricia and Jonathan Jr.
