Celso Salazar Lebumfacil, 83, was born on July 28. 1937 in Cebu, Philippines to Vicente Lebumfacil and Eufracia Salazar, and entered into eternal rest on January 6, 2021 in Montebello, California.
Celso immigrated to the US in 1967. Together with his wife, they raised two children in Montebello, spent years RVing, hitting the Southwestern and Pacific Coast states into Canada. He actively participated in Santo Niño Cebu Association and Cebu Institute of Technology Alumni Association events and activities. After retiring as an engineer from Eaton Corporation, Celso enjoyed deep sea fishing, casino visits, spending time in their Liloan, Cebu home, taking care of his garden and spending time with his four grandchildren.
Celso is survived by his loving family: Wife of 54 years, Priscilla Go Lebumfacil, Children, Grace and her husband Ron Capps, Glenn and his wife Mona Lebumfacil, Grandchildren, Kirsten Capps, Ryan Capps, Emma Lebumfacil, Sophie Lebumfacil, Siblings and Half Siblings, Narcisa Lebumfacil Arceo, Clara Lebumfacil Davide, Resituto Lebumfacil, Estelia Lebumfacil Nery, Romeo Lebumfacil, Fe Lebumfacil Panogon, Joy Lebumfacil Eladio, Vicenter Lebumfacil III, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Celso was met at the gates of Heaven by his siblings, Vicente Lebumfacil II, Angeles Lebumfacil Cortes, and Lourdes Lebumfacil Fernan, all who preceded him in death.
