Chad Hendrickson
August 25, 1982 — September 29, 2023
Chad Allen Hendrickson, 41, of Cerritos, California, passed away on September 29, 2023. Chad was born in Bellflower, California on August 25, 1982, to Steve and Kristi Hendrickson. He was the oldest of two children. In 1986, the family moved to Cerritos, California where they still reside. He graduated from Gahr High School and received his BS and MS from the University of Southern California.
Chad never let the body surfing accident that left him a quadriplegic at the age of 15 get in his way. He loved life, spending time with family and friends, music, anything to do with food and smoking meats, and especially liked to camp and fish. His chocolate lab Max was his favorite pal who was always by his side.
He is survived by his parents and younger sister, Megan. He is also survived by his grandma and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. His zest for life and positive attitude will be sorely missed.
Chad, we all love you and will miss you dearly.
