Charles (Charlie) Parra was born December 12, 1945, in Pittsburg, PA, and entered into eternal rest on April 4, 2014, surrounded by his loving family in his home in Pico Rivera. Charlie was a employed by Venus Foods for over 30 years. He started as a driver and entered into sales until his retirement.
Charlie had several favorite pasttimes: the Pittsburg Steelers, Tuesday night bowling, and visiting various casinos. Above all, he loved being with his family.
Charlie is survived by his loving family, wife of 54 years, Irene, sons ,Charles Henry and Alexander Robert Parra , and his daughter, Christine Margaret Alvarado. Charlie was a proud of his 11 grandchildren and his great grandson.
Charlie will always be remembered as a hard-working man with strong faith, a kind heart, and a smile for everyone. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Risher Montebello Mortuary, with the Vigil starting at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Mariana De Paredes Church, with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
