Charlotte Hernandez, 89, was born on November 24, 1920 in San Pedro, California, and passed away on May 9, 2010 in Montebello, California.
Charlotte was a Charter Member of the Pico Rivera VFW Post 6315, Ladies Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and anyone who was lucky to have known her.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Hernandez of Montebello, daughters, Louise Estrada of Montebello, Vivian Arroyo of Montebello, Audrey Hernandez of Whittier, brothers, John Razo of Utah, Danny Gonzales of Montebello, sisters, Hazel Chavez of Montebello, Flora Mendibles of Montebello, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, May 14, 2010, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
