Concepcion "Connie" Garza Dominguez, 95, was born on November 6, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas to Antonio and Isaura Garza and went to be with her Heavenly father on February 21, 2018 in Alhambra, California.
Concepcion was met at Heaven's gate by her loving husband, Daniel Dominguez and her loving daughter in law, Susan Dominguez, both of which preceded her in death.
It was in Texas where she met met the man of her dreams, Daniel Dominguez. Concepcion then moved to California during the depression era, where with hard working hands and a strong will, she was a packer for Presto Foods for over 35 years. The union of her and Daniel gave them three beautiful children. When she retired, she would just hop on the bus and go for a joy ride. It gave her a new sense of freedom and liberation. She enjoyed the company of new friends and loved to hop on the bus whenever there were field trips and outings.
"I was married for forty three years and I worked and took care of my husband and my children most of my life. As soon as my husband Daniel passed away, I hit the road and traveled and toured other countries with my friends." -Connie
Concepcion leaves behind her loving family: Son, Daniel Dominguez, Daughter, Gloria Hubner (Bruce), Daughter, Teresa Scarborough (Ted), eight loving grandchildren, twenty-five beautiful great-grandchildren, and sixteen wonderful great great grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
