Connie Lizarraga, 91, was born on March 11, 1927 in Los Angeles, California to Jesus Arias and Isabel Forresdella and enetered into eternal rest on November 4, 2018 in Montebello, California.
Connie was greeted at Heaven's gate by her loving husband of 57 years, Michael Lizarraga, as well as her beloved son, Ron Provencio, both who preceded her in death.
With hard working hands and dedication, Connie was a store clerk in the grocery retail industry for over 25 years. Connie was a joyful and vibrant great grandma even in her final years. She’d tell her grandkids and great grandchildren stories about how she had met her Husband, who had passed years before. When she was young she was always found bowling with Mike, her husband. They were both championship bowlers with her teammates/friends.
She was a very elegant woman and was always trying to teach her grandkids her ways and to strive forward with heads held high and hair done nice (as she would say). She spent every Sunday playing competitive card games with her children and sometimes grandchildren.
Connie’s charity of choice is Simply Help Foundation, to help the homelessness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to this organization by going to their website:

Connie leaves behind her loving family: Son, Dan Provencio (Herminia) of Diamond Bar, California, Son, Michael Lizarraga (Mona) of Pico Rivera, California, Daughter, Lorraine Kelso of Whittier, California, 7 loving grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Condolences may be sent to the family through our website.
