Curtis Leon Peace, 91, was born in Clinton, Mississippi on March 19, 1920 and passed away in San Gabriel on October 6, 2011. He was previously employed with Union Pacific Railroad as a Mail Manager for 20 years. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was given an Honorable Discharge. Curtis was awarded the American Campaign Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, a Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

Curtis enjoyed gardening and camping. He loved to sing and sang in his church choir. He loved spending time with Domino, his Dalmatian.

A service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area 4 on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 12:45pm.

He is survived by his loving wife, Odessa Peace of Rialto, his daugther, Viola Williams of Oklahoma and his son Willie Earl Peace of Los Angeles. He also leaves loving grandchildren.
