David Oscar Aguirre Profile Photo
David Oscar Aguirre was born to Oscar and Susan (Salazar) Aguirre on December 7, 1948 in Los Angeles, California and entered into eternal rest on December 13, 2016 at his home in Hacienda Heights, California. He was 68 years old.

His life's calling was to serve the parishioners at Calvary Chapel Montebello as an usher for nearly 25 years. He loved Jesus, the word of God and his family. He was a great story teller and would often start laughing before he got to the punchline of the memory. He also loved baseball and specifically the Dodgers. He coached for the Montebello Stars and other city parks for many years, taking 3 teams to the ABC World Series and winning 2 out of 3 championships. He enjoyed cooking for people, especially tamales. He loved watching comedies, both old and new. I would say his favorite past time was laughing. My dad was a man who made the most out of a life that wasn't dealt the best of hands. He would attribute his joy and perseverance to one source, Jesus Christ and His redeeming power to transform a broken vessel. We miss you dad!

David is survived by his four loving children; son Eric David Aguirre of Azusa, California, son Patrick Michael (Stephanie) Aguirre of Montebello, California, daughter Grace Dion Aguirre of Miami, Florida and son Robert Pfeffer of California. He also leaves behind five grandchildren; Sarai Jordan Aguirre of Napa, Justin Shiloh Aguirre of Oregon, Diego Thomas Aguirre of San Luis Obispo, Christian Alexander Aguirre of Montebello and Sophia Jordan Aguirre of Montebello and his siblings; Carol Gonzalez of Monterey Park, CA (1 Child), Phyllis Gutierrez of Pasadena, CA (2 Children), Michael Aguirre of Downey, CA (3 Children), Olivia Villalobos of San Bernardino, CA (4 Children), Stephan Estrada of Upland, CA (5 Children), Robert Ghiotto of Hacienda Heights, CA (4 Children), Gino Aguirre of Arlington, VA (2 Children), Susie Aguirre of Long Beach, CA (1 Child), Jaime Salazar of Johnstown, CO (4 Children) and Marc Salazar of Los Angeles, CA.
