David Ray Gafin

David Ray Gafin, 65, was born on September 6, 1954 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Bernard Gafin and Rosemary Stevens, and entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2020 in Downey, California.
David served the city of Downey, California when he was elected to city council in 2004 and served as mayor from 2007 to 2008 as well as being past president of the Downey Chamber of Commerce. David also dedicated over 42 years as a certified public accountant and owned his accounting firm.
David is survived by his loving family: Wife, Brenda Gafin of Downey, Ca., Son Brent Cameron (Trisha) Gable of Downey, Ca., Grandchildren, Mika Marie Gable and Noah Laurence Gable of Downey, Ca., and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
David was met at the gates of Heaven by his parents Bernard and Rosemary Gafin who both preceded him in death.
