David Martinez Portillo was born to Juan and Maria (Martinez) Portillo on December 29, 1932 in Chihuahua, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on November 26, 2016 at his home in Los Angeles, California. He was 83 years old. David was a proud US Veteran and received an honorable discharge. More recently, he worked as a welder for over 41 years.
David is survived by his loving wife Teresa Portillo of Whittier, California and his six children; David Portillo Jr. of Denver, Colorado, Cesar Portillo of Pasadena, California, Angelica Portillo-Heap of Whittier, California, Sergio Portillo of Montebello, California, Teresa Benavente of Long Beach, California and Minerva Day of Pennsylvania.
