David Quintero, 68, was born on August 1, 1952 in Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico to Jesus Quintero and Maria del Rosario Pelayo, and entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2021 in Montebello, California.

David dedicated over 10 years of hard work while employed as a senior product engineer for an architectural products and services business.

Written by his children:
Dad was such a blessing to everyone he encountered. He was full of joy and shared it with abundance wherever he went, especially if it included a hot cup of coffee. One could always count on Dad for the best hugs! Those hugs expressed so many feelings: comfort, love, pride, support… whatever was needed in the moment. Dad brought life to gatherings, especially if you were rooting for the Dodgers or Rams. My goodness was he glad those Rams came back home to LA! He went to their second game, not the first one because we all know he hated crowds. Yet dad drew a crowd wherever he went. Dad enjoyed adventures, large and small. He encouraged us to explore, build, and experience life. He loved being outdoors and travelling, but there was nothing that brought him more joy than to bring joy to others. He came home from his missions trips so fulfilled from bringing the joy of God’s word to others. There is no question that Dad was an amazing mentor and loved his family and friends. He is certainly looking down on us from heaven and knows that we love him just as much as he loved us.
