DAVID LAWRENCE TRUJILLO
April 17, 1949 — February 27, 2025
David was born to Irene Trujillo and Lawrence Trujillo. He was born in Whittier, California, but he primarily grew up in the neighboring town of Montebello where he met the love of his life, Anita. They were married for 54 years, residing in Whittier and they had three children: Lydia, David, and Amy.
David was a devoted husband and father who valued family above all else.
Through the years David worked as an engineer for Hughes/Raytheon. When he was not working, David was involved with his children through coaching youth sports and attending school events. After their children were grown, David and Anita moved to Mississippi for a new opportunity with Raytheon that would see him through retirement.
After retiring, they moved back home to Southern California where they could dote on their 7 grandchildren: Davis, Isabel, Lucia, Ramona, Emmalin, Owen, and Charlotte.
David enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his faithful dog, Gracie. He especially loved to grill and enjoyed sharing meals with his family.
David is survived by his wife, three children, two sons-in-law (Tim and Chris), one daughter-in-law (Kelli), and seven grandchildren.
David entered into the presence of the Lord on February 27, 2025.
