Delia Torres Vasquez

Delia Torres Vasquez, 62, was born in Los Angeles, Ca. on November 26, 1950 and passed away in Whittier, Ca. on February 2, 2013. Delia had a soft, loving heart. She loved spending time with all her family from small little visits to large celebrations of any kind. She spent most of her time caring for her mother. Together they enjoyed playing Lottaria with the ladies, watching her Novalas and getting together with friends for Pot Lucks and Bible Studies. Delia recently retired from the East Whittier School District as a Bilingual Instructional Aide. She always had a heart for children. She was a truly special person and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday February 15, 2013 at 10:00 am at St Paul of the Cross Church, 14020 Foster Road, La Mirada, CA 90638.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ruben Salazar Vasquez of Riverside. They had been married 43 years. She was a loving mother to her 5 children, Rita Marie Bautista of Whittier, Ruben Gabriel Vasquez of La Habra, Rosalie Angelica Nichols of Whittier, Darlene Delia Vasquez of Riverside and Daniel Jose Vasquez of Baldwin Park. She enjoyed spending her days with her 10 grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter to her mother Dolly.
